Professional watch services

Repair paths designed around evidence, approval and long-term reliability

Each service is structured to explain risk, protect the watch and give owners a written decision before work begins. We support modern daily watches, mechanical collections, quartz pieces and selected vintage timepieces.

Movement servicing

Complete movement service

For watches that run fast, lose time, stop overnight, show low power reserve or have unknown service history. We assess magnetism, amplitude, beat error, winding feel and visible wear before recommending work.

  • Manual, automatic and selected chronograph calibres
  • Cleaning and lubrication planning
  • Regulation and timing report where eligible
  • Limited workmanship coverage on approved work
Water resistance testing

Water-resistance and gasket work

Water resistance is not permanent. We inspect crowns, pushers, crystals, caseback seals and gasket compression before advising whether the watch is suitable for rain, washing hands, swimming or diving.

  • Dry testing for risk screening
  • Wet testing where appropriate
  • Crown, tube and pusher inspection
  • Clear statement of tested conditions
Case restoration

Case and bracelet restoration

Conservative finishing improves presentation while protecting geometry. We discuss whether the goal is daily-wear freshness, resale presentation or preservation of original lines.

  • Black-chrome inspection lighting
  • Brushed and polished surface planning
  • Bracelet cleaning and clasp adjustment
  • Before-and-after photo records
Sapphire crystal replacement

Sapphire crystal replacement

Chipped crystals, damaged coatings and impact marks are assessed with attention to case fit, gasket profile, cyclops alignment and pressure-test implications.

  • Sapphire replacement guidance
  • Crystal gasket planning
  • Dust-control check after fitting
  • Pressure test recommendation
Authentication support

Authentication and condition notes

We document visible condition and service concerns for owners, insurers, estate planning or private sale preparation. This is not a manufacturer certificate; it is an independent technical observation.

  • Exterior and access notes where possible
  • Private handling of serial references
  • Red-flag reporting
  • Service priority summary
Vintage conservation

Vintage conservation

Older watches need restraint. We distinguish repair from restoration, preserve patina where requested and explain when replacement parts may alter value or historical integrity.

  • Moisture and corrosion triage
  • Dial and hand preservation advice
  • Period-sensitive finishing restraint
  • Wearability recommendations

Service process from intake to return

A clear process protects both the owner and the watch.

1. Intake photography

The watch is photographed from key angles, including case, bracelet, crystal, crown and visible damage. Sensitive numbers are handled privately.

2. Technical assessment

We check timing, winding feel, crown action, water-resistance risk and surface condition, then separate required work from optional improvement.

3. Written approval

Work begins only after approval. If deeper movement issues appear after opening, we pause and explain the change before continuing.

4. Bench repair

Approved work is completed with dust control, calibrated tools, appropriate lubrication and conservative handling of collectible surfaces.

5. Verification

Eligible watches are checked for timing stability, hand-setting, date change, winding efficiency, case cleanliness and pressure-test status.

6. Collection or return

You receive practical notes about wearing, winding, water exposure and recommended service intervals. Insured return can be arranged.
